My name is Mary Beth and I'm from New Orleans! This is my third year
teaching first grade and I absolutely LOVE firsties! I was very
fortunate to find this position after graduating with my undergrad from
Southeastern Louisiana University in 2012. I am currently working on a
master's degree in literacy from the University of Texas Arlington.
Hopefully I will get to be a reading specialist when this is all said
and done! I am also a certified trainer in Thinking Mathematics, which has completely changed the way I view math instruction.
I am married to my wonderful hubby David and we have two purr-fect fur babies!
